            The criminal justice system can be confusing to anyone not familiar with it.  In addition to the various laws enacted by state and federal legislatures, there is also case precedent handed down from the courts that explains how laws are interpreted.  Best stated by Abraham Lincoln, “He who represents himself has a fool for a client.”  Usually we find ourselves involved in the criminal justice system when we are at our worst.  Things in life have gone horribly wrong and we are emotional and scared.  Representing yourself at this moment is not only improper, but could have dire consequences.  You need a lawyer who has the experience and proven track record to guide you.

            Jeff Goldfarb began his career as a public defender.  Here he gained the experience needed to help all those faced with allegations and charges.  Jeff has over 15 years of trial experience.  This experience, combined with a complete knowledge of the law and most prosecutors throughout the eastern half of Missouri, proves there is no issue too big or too small for us to handle.  Jeff understands the most important element of any case is communication so he ensures clients can reach him any time of day.  Adding to Jeff’s resume is his experience as a former municipal court judge, arbitration judge for the Better Business Bureau of Greater St. Louis, and his designation as lead panel attorney in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
